The article seem to imply that water scarcity is a problem primarily caused by Pinochet-era laws. This is plainly not true. There may be causes that has been attributed by some to laws from the 1980s, but should not be presented as a "fact". The article fails to mention and weight in the impact of climate change in the water crisis, and it uses peacock terms such as "extractivism" which is clearly negativaly charged. It is also too vague if not incorrect in phrases like "forestry" "consumed 59% of Chile's water".. What water? Dentren | Talk19:35, 9 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
i've read the sources, and while your point on how there are weasel words to negatively paint pinochet, the section is focused on Pinochet's impact on water scarcity in Chile.
overall, there should be enough detail in the rest of the wikipedia article to say "ok although pinochet's laws sucked, and we have the sources to back it up, climate change and the anomalous Ridiculously Resilient Ridge in the South Pacific also is making the current drought worse 98.59.80.64 (talk) 01:30, 10 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
