Spies and Lies

[edit]

This article should be updated with the wealth of new information published in Alex Joske's new book, Spies and Lies. RightQuark (talk) 02:09, 29 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

For user @Amigao who continues to provide the shortest and least-descriptive edit descriptions, please explain your decision to remove the update tag. RightQuark (talk) 03:57, 29 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
RightQuark, feel free to add new information to the article. However, a tag is not needed. Amigao (talk) 05:01, 29 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Amigao Instead of replying on this talk page I see you've reverted the change again with the comment "not needed; a stub tag would be more appropriate". If you feel a stub tag may be more applicable, please place one but that doesn't change the appropriateness of my update tag. The application of the update tag is compliant with the template's documentation and belongs there until I, or someone else, updates the out of date information with the new information source. This isn't a new practice and this tag is frequently and properly applied to WP articles when an informative book on that subject is published with newly available information. Thank you for the invitation. Instead I'm asking you to explain your decision to remove the update tag. RightQuark (talk) 05:39, 29 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
