New Ulaanbaatar International Airport → Chinggis Khaan International Airport – the airport was officially renamed on July 1, 2020. Chinneeb (talk) 10:42, 3 October 2020 (UTC)—Relisting. wbm1058 (talk) 21:48, 9 October 2020 (UTC)
- Support per [1]. BegbertBiggs (talk) 22:35, 23 October 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose Chinggis Khaan International Airport currently redirects somewhere else. If it is an ambiguous name we should keep the article at an unambiguous one. (t · c) buidhe 03:44, 31 October 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose. No evidence for primary topic or common name. All moves must be requested explicitly; the disambiguation page is not requested for moving. DrKay (talk) 11:18, 31 October 2020 (UTC)

- New Ulaanbaatar International Airport → Chinggis Khaan International Airport
- Chinggis Khaan International Airport → ?
– "This airport is starting operations on July 4th 2021 with an inaugural flight from Tokyo. It's name has been publicised everywhere as Chinggis Khaan International Airport (source: https://ikon.mn/n/29nd)" chinneeb-talk 14:29, 2 July 2021 (UTC) —Relisted. P.I. Ellsworth ed. put'r there 23:57, 11 July 2021 (UTC)
- Note: Chinggis Khaan International Airport titles a page with content and so it must also be dispositioned. If this request is granted, then Chinggis Khaan International Airport may be moved to Chinggis Khaan International Airport (disambiguation) and tagged with {{One other topic}} in accordance with WP:ONEOTHER, or it may be deleted to make way for the first proposed page move. - This isn't me opposing this move -- I may actually support, after some more research -- but I think it's important to clarify here that this airport is replacing the older Ulaanbaatar airport, which was previously named Chinggis Khaan International Airport and is now Buyant-Ukhaa International Airport. I think it's probably better to have the name go to this page vs. the old one, but I'll be back on that.--Yaksar (let's chat) 15:29, 2 July 2021 (UTC)
- Oppose. No evidence for primary topic: page views, google search. All moves must be requested explicitly; the disambiguation page is not requested for moving. DrKay (talk) 16:44, 2 July 2021 (UTC)
- This new airport is reported to have opened only very recently: page views will not reflect the common name. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 18:55, 4 July 2021 (UTC)
- Support After some further thinking, this seems to be the most logical move. New coverage clearly uses the new name for the new airport. The old airport previously had this name, and now its replacement does, so it's a bit trickier than a simple "which is the primary topic" question, but the solution that would be most beneficial to readers would be to put the new airport, which does have this name, at the name, and have the older airport, which no longer has this name, as a hatnote.--Yaksar (let's chat) 19:41, 2 July 2021 (UTC)
- Thank you, that is my thinking as well. Have added a note to give a brief explanation on the renaming confusion at the beginning of the article. --chinneeb-talk 02:50, 4 July 2021 (UTC)
- Yeah -- to be US-centric, it's sort of a Yankee Stadium situation. There was a previous Yankee Stadium that was just as, if not more important, and is still regularly discussed, but it's clearly to the benefit of what readers are looking for to have it go to the current one. Although this situation is made even easier by the fact that the old airport now has a different name, one that we already use for its title.--Yaksar (let's chat) 02:42, 12 July 2021 (UTC)

- Support move of New Ulaanbaatar International Airport → Chinggis Khaan International Airport with the disambiguation page at the current target deleted. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 18:49, 4 July 2021 (UTC)
- Oppose. It is unlikely that there is as yet a primary topic for Chinggis Khaan International Airport, we have no convincing evidence that there is yet, and there may never be. So we need to find some other solution to this, either disambiguating both articles, or perhaps merging them, but they are each long enough to make a merge probably not the best idea. Andrewa (talk) 21:28, 9 July 2021 (UTC)
- Support per Yaksar, due to usage and recognition in new press coverage (https://airlinegeeks.com/2021/07/06/mongolia-s-new-airport-has-launched/ and http://www.travelnewsasia.com/news21/57-ChinggisKhaan.shtml) it satisfies WP:NAMECHANGES. Current target disambiguation page should be moved to Chinggis Khaan International Airport (disambiguation). Happily888 (talk) 01:35, 12 July 2021 (UTC)
- +1 with the move of the current Chinggis Khaan International Airport disambig article to Chinggis Khaan International Airport (disambiguation) --chinneeb-talk 03:13, 13 July 2021 (UTC)
- Call them Chinggis Khaan International Airport (before 2020) and Chinggis Khaan International Airport (after 2019)? Anthony Appleyard (talk) 22:26, 12 July 2021 (UTC)
- I don't see the point. The "original" Chinggis Khaan airport was only renamed in 2005 and has reverted to it's 1957 name "Buyant-Ukhaa" (the IATA code ULN has reverted to Buyant Ukhaa as well per https://www.iata.org/en/publications/directories/code-search/?airport.search=ULN) - leaving it as-is (Buyant-Ukhaa International Airport) and adding a note at the top regarding the name change is more than enough to address the issue, IMO. --chinneeb-talk 02:48, 13 July 2021 (UTC)
- Yeah, that seems to be a less than ideal outcome. The old one has a new name that is already fitting and makes life easier for readers. The only question at hand is if the new one can take the name, or if because the older one use to use that name, it cannot be the primary for it -- we shouldn't make it even more complicated by also moving the old one to its former, now not used name.--Yaksar (let's chat) 12:31, 13 July 2021 (UTC)
