Problems with article

[edit]

There are a few problems with this article, namely the two comparisons made between the performance Chionis had in the ancient sports and what his standing would be in the modern sports. It's different rules, different eras, different altogether, and comes unsourced; at best it could fit in as a notice but not in the main text. Also, it is mentioned that Chionis was also noted as a triple jumper capable of reaching up to 15.85 metres (52.0 feet), where does this figure come from and why is it interpreted as being a triple jump? The only available source on his performance is Eusebius chronicle (http://www.attalus.org/translate/eusebius2.html#191) that mentions 22 feet as his performance in jumping (that is feet as in the ancient Greek pous, not the modern English feet measure of length; so it would be about 7 meters as there were various pous measurements depending on the event).
