Lake Isle of Innisfree[edit]

W.B. Yeats lived in Bedford Park, Chiswick. He passed the Eyot each day on the way to work, and he says the Eyot reminded him of Innisfree - and so is the direct source of one of the most prestigious poems ever written in the English language. Chuzzlewitty (talk) 05:56, 5 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
