When is this rhyme first recorded? Its hard to judge the article's significance without this information.Sabrebd (talk) 15:48, 11 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • The rhyme dates back way before the school referenced in the article was founded. The historic part of the article now retells an urban legend, it would be nice if someone rewrites it. The significance of this rhyme in the Russian culture is the same as Twinkle Twinkle Little Star has for the English speaking universe: it is perhaps the only tune instantly recognizable by literally every person. 172.4.34.109 (talk) 04:43, 5 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
