Rivalries

[edit]

Are Pattaya United and Sriracha correct?

I think Muangthong United is better. --KungDekZa (talk) 16:16, 1 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Pattaya United and Sriracha would be better classed as Darby matches, like Liverpool and Everton. You see, they are not challengers in the league but are in the same region.

Chonburi and Muangthong could be rivals in Thailand, but it's only been one season, can't really be called a rivalrie just yet Druryfire (talk) 21:47, 1 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

OK, Thanks you. --KungDekZa (talk) 04:36, 2 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Guys, I wouldn't call Sriracha a rival of Chonburi. They do have a friendly relationship, and the fans of both clubs are supporting each other. In my eays this is for sure not a rivalary. Pattaya and MTU might be the better option, even the rivalary with MTu isn't that old. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Lokomotive74 (talkcontribs) 08:34, 4 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Foundation

[edit]

So far as I am aware of, Chonburi was founded as Chonburi in 2002. If you mention 1997, which basically might not be wrong, you may clearly should point out, as what they had been founded. Or let's ask the historican of CFC here in the wiki, what his oppionion is. ;) --Lokomotive74 (talk) 08:37, 4 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

From the description in the article, Chonburi were formed in 2002 after they split from the Chonburi-Sannibat-Samutprakan team. So Chonburi is a new team in 2002, and Chonburi-Sannibat-Samutprakan needs to be a old defunct team that was formed in 1997 and disbanded in 2001 in my opinion? Attendances

[edit]

I deleted the statement "Chonburi have by far the highest average attendance" because I don't believe it's true.... http://www.thaileaguefootball.com/index.php?lay=show&ac=article&Id=84122&Ntype=1

...though I await a more recognised source of data. Muangthong United now have a considerably higher stadium capacity than Chonburi and crowds are higher.

Also, the citation given contained no reference whatsoever to Chonburi attendances. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 118.172.42.132 (talk) 14:21, 24 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
