"Noted royalist"

[edit]

I'm not sure if this is an accurate description of Baker. From my reading of him (for example in the review of TKNS that appeared on Asia Sentinel) I think he takes a fairly neutral stance towards the King. Is his royalist reputation solely based on his role as the main writer for the latest UNDP report and the pieces for the Nation and Bangkok Post that are off-shoots of the report? Even though he is the "principal writer" the UNDP report is probably a composition of the ideas and believes of a great number of people, and may not reflect Baker's own views. - Naphat 05:53, 16 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
