- {intro) Beardsley started his career with Mansfield Town, spending a total of three years at the club - article says he turned professional in 2003, it makes no mention of him being at the club in 2001.
- Could do with mentioning what division Worksop Town were in (in the main article). Likewise for Mansfield Town and Doncaster Rovers.
- but his time there saw the club get relegated to the Conference National. - doesn't sound quite right to me.
- However, his season came to an abrupt end against local rivals Notts County on 29 August that year, when he collided with goalkeeper Kevin Pilkington and suffered a broken shin bone.[13] Beardsley scored a brace in Mansfield's 3–0 Football League Trophy victory against Grimsby Town.[14] Shortly after, however, Beardsley joined Conference National side Rushden & Diamonds on a one-month loan in January 2007. - seemed to have skipped through 2006 without any mention. Should provide a date for when he returned to match fitness and for the goal against Grimsby. I corrected other casual mentions of dates i.e. he joined such-and-such on loan in December, and made his debut four days later. Then three days later he did this. I'm not bothered about nailing down dates for every game but saying 'event a took place four days later than event b' doesn't mean too much if the reader isn't told when event b took place.
- Beardsley also won 'The Comet Player of the Year' award - what is this? Is this the club's main award, a secondary award, an independent organization's award?
- (stats table) Soccerbase does not record any stats for Kettering Town in the 2007–08 season. Therefore you cannot use it as a source.
- I won't demand it, but again a 'style of play' section would be nice. He doesn't score many goals for a striker. Is he a target man or a creator or something?
