Maplin catalogues

[edit]

Is this the same Artist who did the sci-fi scenes for the Maplin Cataloges in the 80's?

Diary of a Spaceperson

[edit]

This who sections seems to be very heavy on POV speculation, and should really be pared down to bthe purely descriptive. Nick Cooper (talk) 18:23, 28 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Unnecessary criticism?

[edit]

"The illustrations have since become somewhat dated, mainly because of changes in hairstyles." Does this really need to be said? Wouldn't it be more notable if the hairstyles shown in a 1970s book were those of 40 years later? All pictures of people drawn in past decades or centuries show out-of-date hairstyles, but this is not normally considered notable. The Laughing Cavalier (1624) has a dreadfully old-fashioned haircut, but his Wikipedia article doesn't mention this. 95.150.93.103 (talk) 20:05, 26 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Terran Trade Authority?

[edit]

Chris Foss does not appear among the artist credits in the four original Terran Trade Authority books. I suspect the credit here is in error - can anyone provide a citation? — Preceding unsigned comment added by James.porcher (talkcontribs) 02:24, 2 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Is the full name really "Christopher F. Foss"?

[edit]

@The real Marcoman: You have added his full name Christoher F. Foss. But is this for certain his real name, and not a confusion with military book author Christopher F. Foss? You or anyone else, please clarify. --KnightMove (talk) 08:29, 28 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
