Chris Joannou is not Greek[edit]

I have family friends who know the family of Chris Joannou and Chris himself and they are not Greek. They are Macedonians from norther Greece, either Florina/Lerin or Kastoria/Kostur, not sure, but one thing I am sure of is that he is not Greek. Their surname was changed by the Greek authorities. I'll be editing this article.

--- yeah that's what everyone said about Peter Daicos, "he's not Greek Macedonian he's Slav" but when it came to the Greek AFL team of Century he was the first to claim he was from Greek heritage.

Improvement?[edit]

This article needs a better main body and more information, Information about the gear he uses (more than just one sentence), And a picture. The infobox doesn't list the instruments he is affiliated with, There is a trivia section which needs removing I would try but I am not very good at editing and writing for Wikipedia! Ethnicity and Protection of article[edit]

It has been a while since I have read the article, the one thing I noticed is the removal of Chris' ethnicity, ethnic Macedonian, and the source which provided it. Place replace it..

Also, Admins need to protect the article against people without accounts. Look at the history and the majority of edits have been by these people. Mactruth (talk) 01:21, 7 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ok that site is not a reliable site. Anyone can log in and edit profiles on it. We need an unbiased reliable source that states his of "ethnic Macedonian" or "Greek" origins. I have not found one yet. (Angar432 (talk) 17:04, 28 October 2008 (UTC)).[reply]

Since we don't have a reliable source about the Chris' Joannou ethnicity let's leave it as Australian. It it the one tha we all agree. Run on sentencing[edit]

Name[edit]

The copy of the "Christophoros" name back into ptwiki sent me in a rabbit hole trying to find any sources on his first name. Could not find any reliable source for either Christophoros or Christopher, though I did find IMDB and this tripod site stating his name is "Christopher Andrew Joannou". Though not exactly reliable, as it accepts suggested edits from users, I would rather stick with IMDB on this one over a made up name for Wikipedia. For the time being I removed both Christophoros and John from the name and left it as "Chris Joannou" as it is what we can be sure about. Chico Venancio (talk) 14:26, 4 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
