Edit needed to lead

[edit]

The lead has peacocky language, but I couldn't think of a good way to fix it. The two references are good ones and shouldn't be lost, but the praise has to be softened or removed. LaMona (talk) 14:47, 23 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Question

[edit]

I drafted this page (under the username brotherTproductions, which had problems and got blocked - I think I chose the name poorly). My new username is WinterOMeara. I have tried to fix the neutrality issues in the lead section and also all the "citation needed" comments. Have I fixed the problems? If I have, will the box at the top and the notes about citations end up being removed? Thanks!

Yes, it's better. There are still areas that show that cites are needed - if you've added cites there you can remove those. It's ok to remove the "peacock" tag as well. Thanks for editing WP! I hope you stick around to do more. LaMona (talk) 17:57, 25 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! How do I remove the "citation needed" notations? I've added the correct citations but don't know how to remove the tags. (Sorry to have all these questions - I'm new at this!)

Never mind - I think I figured it out. Hopefully I did it correctly. The banner is still on the page but I removed the peacock tag and the citations needed tags. Thanks.
