The Israelites[edit]

The information on the band The Israelites is incorrect or out of date. The band released 2 more albums after 1998, plus a recent worship album. Also, they have relocated to the Portland, OR area and are still playing shows. Bclovato (talk) 07:01, 19 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Out of date, then. Can you provide resources to show that? The best that I found was a website from around 2000 stating that a third album was planned, but no indication of much activity after the millennium. Dan, the CowMan (talk) 09:56, 19 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

B. O. B.[edit]

Do you have any sales numbers, tours or something to support "well received", or are you saying you liked their albums? http://www.allmusic.com/artist/bunch-of-believers-mn0001815135 says they weren't reviewed well (by a single user) and http://www.jesusfreakhideout.com/artists/default.asp?artiststyle_id=9 doesn't list them at all so no hope of reviews there. The Encyclopedia of Contemporary Christian Music has 3/5 of a column for them, so not a major endorsement or coverage there. It was my understanding that they were a label creation: "Hey, ska is popular with the kids now, we should get a band together that does ska." The fact that the band members never actually used their real names (they were all variants of "Bob") doesn't help. I don't know that they toured or performed to support the release of It's a Ska, Ska, Ska World and I doubt they did for Ska-la-la-la-la (which has been played while we set-up our outdoor Christmas lights since the year after I got the disc). They may have only been a studio band. Without something to support notability or verifiable material to support performances, it doesn't make sense to include them. The W's[edit]
