The definition of AR is in-accurate: AR and Ozena are two different conditions. It is true that Ozena often accompanies primary Atrophic Rhinitis, but it doesn't have too.
Also - you need to make a distinction between primary AR and secondery AR. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rock2000 (talk • contribs) 15:21, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
To the autor of this article - please note:
1. Atrophic Rhinitis is not Ozaena. These are two seperate conditions. AR can exist without Ozaena. Ozaena means disintegration of bones in the nasal cavity, while AR is atrophy of the nasal mucosa.
2. What about the explanation of "secondary" atrophic rhinitis?
