GA Reassessment

[edit]

Article (edit | visual edit | history) · Article talk (edit | history) · Watch
This article needs serious work to stay within current Good article standards. A basic rundown of issues:

  • The reception is pitiful, failing GA crit. 3. There's very little on the overall impact and one-line paragraphs here and throughout.
  • the section Dimensional Adventure Numa Monjar is largely unsourced, and the prose is pretty bad in places.
  • What do File:Home Sea of Eden - Dead Sea.jpg, File:Ct-logo.jpg, and File:Cc-logo.jpg add to the article? They don't meet WP:NFCC right now.

I'm giving the standard week for a response; if there's no meaningful drive to fix the issues, I will delist this article. --Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs (talk) 22:03, 25 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

'Delist': 100% agree! It makes me upset since Chrono Trigger is one of my ten personal favorite games. GamerPro64 (talk) 01:04, 26 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I've tried to go through and beef up the reception; I've also removed the images - the only one this article would need is a "series" logo, which none of those were. I've also revamped the prose for Numa Monjar, though I haven't looked for references yet. --PresN 19:28, 30 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I ref'd the plot/voice actor credits to the animation itself; it's a valid ref, though I'd like a better one, but this is the most obscure thing ever. Are there any other changes you'd like to see made? --PresN 03:56, 4 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Do the refs support this statement: "It was never commercially released, though fans translated and subtitled the video in English."? In terms of other sourcing, it would be nice to have the facts for the games all sourced (since they have separate pages it shouldn't be hard to find the sources.) Other than that, you've done an admirable job beefing up the reception. I'll run through for prose once the more technical aspects are completed. --Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs (talk) 18:21, 4 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I've removed that statement, and added a bunch of cites to the games' sections. --PresN 22:44, 4 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
