Not a single quality picture??[edit]

that's a shame that there are no free pictures of an acceptable quality of such a magnificent masterpiece Iulius 17:08, 4 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I have more pictures and could upload some. The problem is that the pictures of the facade are usually geometrically distorted because of the short distance and also miss the bell tower. And of course they don't show the building of the church. The pictures from the side on the other hand are partly spoiled by the wall obstructing lower part of the building and of course do not show the facade. What do you think ? --Lysytalk 17:15, 4 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I think its best to show facade ;) and there should be no belfry because it is an architectural rubbish and cannot be in par with the church.Iulius 17:20, 4 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Probably a winter picture would be best because of the light (and no trees). --Lysytalk 17:26, 4 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A night picture would also do. It would only enhance those flamboyant qualities :) Iulius 18:33, 4 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

How about more pics? Iulius 05:49, 5 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The finest example of the Brick Gothic architecture in the world.[edit]

Is it considered to be the finest example of Flamboyant Gothic or Brick Gothic in the world ? It should be better referenced I think. Either a citation or mention who exactly considers it such. --Lysytalk 17:11, 4 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. However, I have never seen any brick gothic structure that could come close to it, nor in pictures neither in reality. I would really love to see any such masterful facade elsewhere.Iulius 17:20, 4 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I agree on that, but still this is our personal opinion only, and as such does not count much in the context of the article :-( --Lysytalk 22:11, 21 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The architect[edit]

Who was the architect of the church. Is it controversial. According to Rąkowski it was designed by Michał Enkinger. According to Kucharska and Venclova it was Benedykt Rejt. Any other ideas ? --Lysytalk 17:24, 4 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

These are the only variants I know. Unfortunately, we may not be certain about any of them... Besides , one of them is Benedikt Rejt, while the other "candidate" is German. Iulius 18:35, 4 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe we should mention both. Let me try. --Lysytalk 20:25, 4 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
