Just wanted to say that this article almost looks like someone has vandalized it. Here's a quick example, "...Chytridiomycetes in which it is known. It is generally accepted that the resulting zygote forms a"

Okay so this is going to maybe sound like im crazy, but I JUST read a MUCH MUCH longer version of this article, saw many, obvious flaws in it and typed the above. while attempting to verify for myself that i am correct and commenting on the correct talk page and everything, just something I do before mentioning anything like this here, the article i read has disappeared, replaced by one from Mar 11 2014. HOPEFULLY it has just been taken down for editing and will reappear, but I checked the revision history and saw nothing since mar 11 2014, so... IDK. I came to wikipedia to find out more about these mysterious fungi. Turns out: wikipedia does not tell me much at all about it. :(
