Translation

[edit]

I’ve made some new translations and mostly completed the previous ones from from the Italian Cilavegna article, which is a featured page on the Italian Wikipedia. Although now there may be too much specific information, which English encyclopedic style advises against, at least better editors than me have more to work with, and they can make trims and edits from here; I simply wanted to make the main sections of the original available and accessible to others. I translated at the levels of words and clauses, trying to keep sentences and paragraphs in their original order. References, citations, and interwiki links have been put in their appropriate places throughout the article.

My work may need to be proofread for mistakes. For the most part I’m confident that I’ve captured the meaning of the original in Italian, but since I’m not well versed in the terminology for coat of arms or in ancient Roman history, for example, I might have slipped up in some places. I’ve included these in my posts--because Wikipedia does say to “be bold”-- but they are labeled with the [verification needed] tag, so proofreaders can concentrate their attention there. If anyone stumbles onto this article and feels that they can make checks for me as well, I would appreciate it. --Unmarred (talk) 01:00, 28 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Fixed a broken reference name assuming in good faith that ":cc" referred to the book by Carlo Calvi. Wakari07 (talk) 05:09, 28 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
