Geographic coordinates

[edit]

The map doesn't appear correct because the dot is not in the southwestern corner of Kansas in Morton County. —Mike 16:11, 14 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

  • If you look at the template, there is a section visible from the editing page that shows
 | locator_x = 115
 | locator_y = 92

The upper number moves the locator west to east, with the higher the number resulting in a shift eastward. The lower number moves the locator north to south, with the higher number moving the locator dot soutward. More information can also be found at Wikipedia:WikiProject Protected Areas/Infobox and at pages linked from there. Any questions, you can certianly ask me on my talk page.--MONGO 01:43, 16 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

In the first sentence of the Geography section, there is a bit that says "though after the flood on January 29, 2023, this no longer remains true." What is this referring to? What flood, what was the effect? The sentence structure seems to imply the park is no longer bisected by the Cimarron River. Pevira (talk) 18:22, 29 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
