Channel 7 employees get off Wikipedia[edit]

I love it when articles read like promos.Artiste-extraordinaire 13:12, 18 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Copyvio[edit]

58.174.212.167, please don't make this article look like an ad for the show. Your summaries are lifted straight from promos on TV guide sites, and so violate WP:NPOV and WP:CV. Feel free to add material that's balanced, objective not just copy-pasted from somewhere else, instead of trying to attract viewers. Cheers. Artiste-extraordinaire 09:01, 26 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

TV ratings[edit]

Can we please stop adding TV ratings for each capital city to the article. This is totally unnecessary and reads like an advertisement. If you want to add this to the article, please discuss it here. Remy B 08:47, 28 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

how about national audiences in total whats wrong with that! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.217.150.225 (talk) 03:19, August 29, 2007 (UTC)

how is it self promotion, why cant you right how many people watched the show. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mr goodrem (talkcontribs) 03:22, August 29, 2007 (UTC)

If the ratings were notable (eg. record ratings for a series premiere or something) it would be worthy in the current article. But adding ratings for each episode otherwise seems very disproportionate when the show is so new and the article is so small. I'm being picky here because there have been a lot of edits already that seem suspiciously self-promotional, so I don't want it to turn into an ad and end up getting deleted. Remy B 08:52, 29 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

so you can't put how many ratings it got in its first episode. seriously your suspicions are pretty dam wrong. i just don't see the problem with putting 1.6 million people tuned in for the debut. what is so wrong with that. its in all tv shows. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mr goodrem (talkcontribs) 10:54, August 29, 2007 (UTC)

OK yeah, the debut ratings seems reasonable for inclusion. I was referring to the table of ratings per episode that kept getting added. Remy B 10:56, 29 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

oh my bad that wasnt me. i just put its debut ratings.[1]. CH is channel 7's highest rating cop show since the 1994 debut of blue heelers with 1.2 million and channel 9's water rats with 1.510 in 1996. i wish i worked for channel 7. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mr goodrem (talkcontribs) 11:02, August 29, 2007 (UTC)

Do not add ratings to this article, it violates WP:NOT#INFO. Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information. - Mike Beckham 06:20, 9 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

So we cant put how many people tuned in to see the debut episode. what is wrong with that. its in hundreds of articles for other tv shows. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mr goodrem (talkcontribs) 10:48, 9 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Cityhomicidecast.jpg[edit]

Image:Cityhomicidecast.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Wil Traval[edit]

Is there a source for the claim that Damien Richardson is leaving and being replaced by Wil Traval? Because I can't find one anywhere. 202.168.103.248 (talk) 14:44, 14 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Episodes[edit]

Information about the seasons and number of episodes are written 3 times. DVD, episodes and Ratings. Can we compress this somehow, like maybe just putting a link to the episode page above the ratings section or something of the like? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.169.37.116 (talk) 05:13, 1 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
