Voodoo Music Experience

[edit]

I was thinking that this article could use an internal link to the Voodoo Music Experience, since it seems like a fairly prominent use of the park. However, I'm not sure exactly where that would fit in. Does anyone know of other major events/activities that occur at the park? Perhaps they could be made into a section in the article if there are several other examples. Thoughts? Anyone? CharacterZero | Speak 22:02, 19 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Christian Brothers School Date is Wrong

[edit]

Before the McFadden estate was taken over by the Christian Brothers, it was a secular private school, Sam Barthe School for Boys. I briefly attended this school at this location in the mid-1950s, before Sam moved to a purpose-built facility in suburban Metairie (the current location of Ecole Classique). Exact dates should be available from city property records. The school building was impressive, a huge old gray stone mansion with an indoor swimming pool on the ground floor of one wing, and a basketball court above it. 2601:2C7:881:2830:CC45:990D:29D9:3DEE (talk) 13:56, 24 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
