Puffery and Peacock words[edit]

This article should probably be adjusted to tone down the puffery and peacock language (see example below). If an active editor on this page could assist, that would be best. Otherwise, I can check back later and make some changes.

Beyond the scope of legislation, Cannon's publications on congressional procedure have achieved the status of holy writ for successive generations of lawmakers.
