Chronological List, Please?

[edit]

It would be nice if this list could get a better organization, such as by year written or published. At the very least, put the year of publication next to each story! Sheesh! --Theotherness 10:36, 22 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

PS:This is concieved as a Alphabetical list, like Lovecrafts:
"At the Mountains of Madness (February-22 March 1931)
"Azathoth" (June 1922)
"Beyond the Wall of Sleep" (1919)
"The Book" (late 1933?)
"The Call of Cthulhu" (Summer 1926)
The Case of Charles Dexter Ward (January-1 March 1927)
"The Cats of Ulthar" (15 June 1920)
"Celephaïs" (early November 1920)
"The Colour out of Space" (March 1927)
"Cool Air" (March 1926) "

I agree that a chronological list would be useful (as is found at H. P. Lovecraft bibliography). An enterprising editor (with an afternoon free) could put the titles into a Data Table (see Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style/Accessibility/Data_tables_tutorial) with a column for date of publication, publication source (i.e. Weird Tales, etc.), and, perhaps, the fictional setting (i.e. Averoigne, Hyperborea, etc.) of the story. NYArtsnWords (talk) 22:13, 9 March 2013 (UTC) I might also add a "collected in" tab to such a table, so we could find in which C.A.S. anthology the tale may be found. I went ahead and put the prose section into a data table, supplying those dates/publishing info and external links that I could find. - NYArtsnWords (talk) 22:13, 10 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Incomplete

[edit]

I just noticed that the list of poetry works ends at titles beginning with "M". If the list of poems is to be included on this page, an enterprising editor should add any missing titles. Thanks! - NYArtsnWords (talk) 05:09, 11 March 2013 (UTC) I also see (by looking at the list of works at www.eldritchdark.com) that the list of works is missing Plays, Prose Poems, Nonfiction, etc. - NYArtsnWords (talk) 18:02, 11 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I added the Prose Poems. The bibliography still lacks the complete poetry, the plays, non-fiction, etc. - NYArtsnWords (talk) 04:33, 14 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I added the plays, the lyrics, and put up the complete poetry (including translations). Eventually, the translations should perhaps be pulled out and put under a separate sub-heading (indicating what they are translations of), and all the poetry should be given links to online versions. I have yet to add C.A.S.'s non-fiction. - NYArtsnWords (talk) 01:20, 17 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
