Transportation / Gangs

[edit]
(copied this comment from article page to here)

I have lived in Clarkon for over 20 years and I think my comments on Transportation are a very accurate and verifiable representation of the transportation situation in Clarkson Village. I cannot speak for everyone who has added their two sense on this wiki, but my comments should not be looked upon as vandalism.

P.S. I am not in a gang, but there are gangs in Clarkson, thus, a comment regarding existing gangs is not vandalism. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.206.151.130 (talkcontribs) 18:16, 26 June 2006

I am not sure which comments on transportation you mean. I seem to remember something about a distinctive car? Ahh, maybe these edits? How about I copy your question and this reply to the talk page for the article? Your comment about gangs is important. Shenme 22:22, 26 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, the gangs here are tough to comment on. I mean, they're not ravagingly large, nor are there really any in Clarkson Village (Park Royal is a different story.) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.12.5.47 (talk) 22:35, 1 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There was all this crap about finger-popping, and a bunch of two-bit thugs way back taking up a lot of this article. It was neither pertinent, or important to the history of Clarkson. Keep that shit out of here. And since this page talks more about the village, as opposed to the South side of Park Royal (Bromsgrove, Seagull, Constable, Playford, Kramer, etc) keep anything that references that area out. It's not important. 70.50.196.244 (talk) 23:58, 7 November 2008 (UTC) Joe Caron[reply]

Misinformation in the Caption of the first picture, showing Clarkson Road South

[edit]

I laughed when I noted that the picture was shot westward. It's actually eastward, as the Clarkson R. South sign clearly shows that (for those who know the area), you can't turn left at the street. Why? Because on the North side of the road, at that junction, is a Tim Horton's. Logic dictates that the shot is Eastward. I'm going to fix it. Though if anyone questions why, I'll Googlemap a satellite image of where the location is exactly. 70.50.196.244 (talk) 17:31, 7 November 2008 (UTC) Joe Caron[reply]

Ah, you're right. It is eastward. When I fixed up the captions a while back, I was working with what was there before, and assumed it was correct. I should've been more careful. Do keep in mind that here at Wikipedia we don't abbreviate 'road' and cardinal directions. --Pwnage8 (talk) 14:23, 8 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
A silly rule, regarding cardinal directions and the titles we give to roads, but whatever. I fixed what I'd come to fix. *smiles* 74.12.10.107 (talk) 18:31, 13 December 2008 (UTC) Joe Caron[reply]
