The link to this goes to the British Marines; this seems unlikely to me, as he is never mentioned as being in England, much less at age thirteen; I assume they meant the French Royal Marines: does that mean the French Navy or the Troupes des Marines?--FeanorStar7 14:11, 2 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I agree and I've changed the link to point to Marine (military) France, where they list four different French marine groups. He could have been in any one of them that was around during his lifetime. Fanra 22:39, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
