Could someone fix the death date for Anne. The current dates say she died at the age of 107.

RfC about the page title[edit]

(non-admin closure) While I'm not a fan of closing an already open RfC because no prior discussion has occurred (WP:NOHURRY and WP:VOLUNTEER), this seems to be better suited for a requested move dicussion rather than a general RfC. Should this be page be moved to a different location such as "Claude of Valois" or "Claude, Duchess of Lorraine"? As far as I could see, the main source for the article only ever refers to her as "Claude" or "Claude, Duchess of Lorraine" although I'm aware the spouses of other Dukes of Lorraine are not given a page title featuring "Duchess of Lorraine". Although two are. This does seem to perhaps be a bit of a WP:CONSISTENCY issue even if it is quite low priority. I think moving the article to either of the other titles would reduce confusion with her grandmother Claude of France. KingUther (talk) 15:48, 31 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Claude, Duchess of Lorraine The source material does call her Claude of France, with the qulaifier that she was the duchess of Lorraine. Since there's another woman by that name, this suboptimal disambig happened. It doesn't matter, because I doubt the subject is notable. Oppose. There are two Ducheses of Lorraine named "Claude" who are listed upon the Claude, Duchess of Lorraine disambiguation page. One is listed as Claude Françoise de Lorraine, which is nearly the same as French Wikipedia's main header Claude-Françoise de Lorraine. It would thus seem intuitive to also use French Wikipedia's main header, Claude de France, for the article under discussion, currently titled Claude of France (1547–1575). Since English Wikipedia's Claude Françoise de Lorraine entry already uses "de" in the main header, using "de", rather than "of" in Claude of France (1547–1575) → Claude de France, Duchess of Lorraine would depict the analogous form "de" in the main headers for both Claudes. @Gonnym@BilledMammal pinging you both as this is a response to relisting comment. "Valois" is a better disambiguator than "of France" primarily because there is already Claude of France. Furthermore, most daughters of the Valois kings are given the designation "of Valois" rather than "of France", such as Elisabeth of Valois, Margaret of Valois, Duchess of Berry and Madeleine of Valois. Removing the years and disambiguating by changing "of France" to "of Valois" also makes the name more WP:CONCISE. Estar8806 (talk) 17:03, 23 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
