How is possible he introduced the Gregorian calendar in 1853 if he was appointed Patriarch in 1856?. Probably it was in 1857: see note 124 of [1] A ntv (talk) 10:17, 25 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Oops, my mistake. The source says that he introduced the Gregorian calendar in 1858, not 1853. I have corrected the article. Thank you for noticing. Majoreditor (talk) 21:15, 25 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
