Women under-representation

[edit]

It's a brief article and maybe some Wikipedians could argue that it doesn't match the remarkability criteria. However, considering gender imbalance in Wikipedia, I consider that the article should be stay.--Johnsdisc (talk) 03:18, 30 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Is Clémence de Bourges an homonym?

[edit]

I have found the article Clémence de Bourges today. In the biography, there's not mention that she was also a composer. However, there're some facts similars to Clémentine, and Clémence is a derivation of Clémentine.

Facts that match:

  • Husband killed in a battle against Huguenots
  • Similar name
  • Same place of birth

Discrepancies:

  • All the sources that I found related to music composers remarked that her birthday is unknown. However, for Clémence that's not the case.
  • Sources related to music points out decease day in 1561. In biographies of Clémence, some of them say 1557; and others, 1562.

Are they the same person or different persons with a similar name?--Johnsdisc (talk) 18:56, 30 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
