discussion tags & cleanup

[edit]

After expanding the liberian community subsection, I'm moving on to tsome general cleanup. This (like all the SI articles) needs a map, and while there's a picture of Targee street on the commons, I'm sitting about half a mile away, so I may go take some photos after work. Please chip in if you can. T L Miles (talk) 13:46, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Park Hill

[edit]

Park Hill is not representative of the entirety of Clifton, and is basically just an area contained within the neighborhood itself. I don't think it's fair that the vast majority of this article is about Park Hill; although that information is all relevant, factual, and necessary, I'd like to see some more information up here about the other parts of the neighborhood, such as Townshend, Greenfield, Norwood, and parts of Vanderbilt Avenue, the train station, the remnants of the South Beach branch in the area, Garber Building Supplies, and the large amount of historical houses and factories in the area. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.227.237.117 (talk) 20:51, 20 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Public Health

[edit]

The public health section contains no citations, and much of it is conjecture. I am removing it entirely as at best it is misleading and at worst comprised of falsehoods. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.83.125.13 (talk) 19:31, 28 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Clifton/Park Hill

[edit]

I admit to not knowing much about either area, but constantly swithching between either Clifton or Park Hill or Clifton/Park Hill makes the article look sloppy. Plus, I'm fairly sure the two areas are actually considered two different neighborhoods, so it seems strange for the entire article to be focused on public housing. — Preceding unsigned comment added by FamAD123 (talkcontribs) 20:34, 21 January 2013 (UTC) So, I suggest renaming this page Park Hill, Staten Island, because Park Hill is referenced much more often than Clifton is and creating a new Clifton page that is actually about Clifton. — Preceding unsigned comment added by FamAD123 (talkcontribs) 20:40, 21 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
