Need to put a superscript message

[edit]

I need to put a superscript message "expert content on phenomenon needed" or other like message (the same way as we have the "citation needed" message) at the place where there currently is a template error showing in Red (just in case someone has already reverted that template-error edit, here's where the message is to be put: Winter section, on top-right of the word 'phenomenon' in the line ending with 'Anti-Siberian cyclone-like phenomenon'). Mods. kindly help!--therash09 (talk) 17:23, 2 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Could not find such a superscript. There is a Template:Expert-subject, but that is not a superscript. For now, added verification needed superscript.--Dwaipayan (talk) 19:01, 2 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Hi! Thanks for responding! Actually, rather than verification, it is elaboration that I wish to seek. The content is right though not explained. I put up this content but am not aware of the details of the phenomenon. So I thought of putting up a message asking learned users to elaborate on the phenomenon. Therefore, if you could rephrase it, I'd be grateful! With the current message, it urges readers to 'verify' the line, as in check if it is right or wrong, whereas what I'm seeking is elaboration; quite far apart, aren't they? :) --therash09 (talk) 20:12, 2 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Perhaps message like "which phenomenon?" or those seeking some description of the phenomenon. --therash09 (talk) 20:16, 2 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Hmmm, I think what you are really looking for is Template:Clarify. You are hoping to explain how does that Siberian High cause dry winter or prevent snow, right?--Dwaipayan (talk) 01:55, 3 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
For the template part, EXACTLY!!! I think this should suit that line the most.
As for the "hoping to explain" part, well not exactly... :-/ I know what effect the Siberian High has during winters on surrounding regions, but I actually doubt if has any considerable impact (or in fact any impact whatsoever) on North India, especially knowing that the mighty mountains of the Himaalay prevent winds to and from Siberia and other parts of Central and Northern Asia. However, since winters here in the Northern Plains are quite dry, and the possibility of snowfall here even at sub-zero temperatures is as good as nought, there must surely be some Siberian Anticyclone-like phenomenon playing a strong role, especially because the all-important Western Disturbance which plays the most significant role in North Indian winters is known to bring snowfall in the Himlayan states and rainfall in the Plains.
This actually means that the Western Disturbance tends to bring moisture and could cover to the Northern Plains which implies that winters here should be wet! But in reality the Plains get very little precipitation in winters, that too as rain and not snow even during sub-zero temperatures, as low as -5 or -6 degrees C (except in Plains lying at the Himalayan foothills, which do rarely witness snowfall, e.g. Pathankot), and the winters are rather dry! This obviously points towards an anti-cyclonic formation somewhere that sucks moisture away from the Plains! Is it in the Bay of Bengal? Where is it and what is it? It cannot be the Siberian High, I'm quite sure. That phenomenon makes the Chinese and Mongolian winters dry, but certainly not Indian!! This is what I wish to know... the phenomenon and slight explanation regarding that, and that's what the line is there for!
So yeah, I guess Template:Clarify will be the most suitable superscript! Thanks a lot! --therash09 (talk) 18:18, 3 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
