Jewish Labour Movement

Reports have been made on the Al Jazeera political exposé show The Lobby that Clive Lewis has attended and spoken at Jewish Labour Movement conferences. Secret footage within the same report show members of the JLM seemingly suggesting tactics of calling those opposed to Israeli interests homophobic, misogynist and anti-Semitic, and one JLM member seems to be soliciting the undercover reporter to 'take down' Labour MPs by using such accusations as tactics.

Several times now. I don't think this is useful, and I've reverted to the status quo ante. Most of it is about the Jewish Labour Movement, not Clive Lewis. The only material about Clive Lewis is "Clive Lewis has spoken at Jewish Labour Movement conferences". Which isn't really worth including — it's trivia. Wikipedia isn't a catalogue of Clive Lewis's speaking engagements, and singling out one party affiliate he's spoken at doesn't make much sense. I don't think weight has been established as to how Lewis's relationship to the JLM is worth including in this article. I'm interested in views of other editors to establish a consensus. Have you watched the video linked in the references section? It appears to make direct links between Clive Lewis and the group and implies they go deeper. Whether they do or not, this could well be relevant to his current role and as a significant shadow minister the public have a right to know this connection has been made. I have been careful not to accuse Clive Lewis of anything other than the facts contained in the documentary footage. Clive Lewis is briefly mentioned in the documentary. None of the third-party coverage of the documentary talks about Clive Lewis speaking at JLM events. The majority of the material you're adding doesn't concern Clive Lewis, and I don't think meets WP:NPOV. Beyond that, it's incorrect, because it identifies Shai Masot as a JLM member, when he was embassy staff. I don't think that there's a case for inclusion because an Al Jazeera documentary "implies" deeper connection. WP:COATRACK applies because the material makes an association between the subject and another group, and then adds material that's critical of the group that isn't relevant to the subject of the article. Link 28 - CL and Trident at the 2016 LP Conference

Republican

For a UK politician, holding republican views is highly relevant. It's included in the body, and is relevant and important enough for the introduction, which summarises the body. I put it in, but it was reverted a couple of times with summary Changed Republican views. This should be detailed later in his politics section. (it is in the body).
