Inspiring Lecturer

[edit]

Untitled

[edit]

Prof K was very highly regarded by the student body at King's. He had a unique style of lecturing: idiosyncratic and ironic yet passionate. As well as his various traditional applied maths courses, he also gave lectures in games theory: "Decisions Analysis II" based upon the work of Von Neumann and Morgenstern ( [1] ). Prof K took his teaching very seriously, and generously gave his time to less deserving students like myself. I enjoyed his classes immensely, and the memory of them inspired me to return to mathematics and "do things properly" later in life! Sasha (talk) 21:42, 30 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
