Whitelegg reference[edit]

At no point does the article by Whitelegg (cited in the first paragraph) support the sentence that it is supposed to be referencing. It states (pp. 58-59) that such tracks as the Settle-Carlisle line are already uneconomical (i.e. they lose British Rail money), and then says that that's the reason the line is closed by stealth! That is, it says the opposite of what it is asserted it says. Bastin 12:55, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
