Regarding the edit made by WhirlpoolBrianSnyder on 11/5/08 This information:

20,000 washing machines a day are produced, totalling roughly 5 million a year.

Was added from this computer:

65.60.215.3 (which is an Ohio-based home computer using the Wide Open West Internet Service Provider)

On this date:

00:38, 13 September 2007

I (wikipedia user WhirlpoolBrianSnyder) just removed this information, citing "Removed unverified production information about the washing machines produced at the Whirlpool Corporation plant."

Anyone want to add something about this article I read? Seems relevant. It's about a cancer cluster.
