Planned edit[edit]

An alert reader wrote to OTRS and raised a question about the sentence:

As a result of it's long history with coal Britain's coal reserves have been depleted,

The sentence was added by @Michael Isaiah Schmidt: in this edit

I note that the reference following the sentence is a dead link.

The reader provided this link which documents reserves of 3,196 million tonnes, which sounds inconsistent with the word "deleted".

My suggestion is to simply remove the sentence but I'm open to alternatives.--S Philbrick (Talk) 15:35, 24 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I updated the old (?lost) worldenergy.org survey document link to use the page 'Coal in United Kingdom' -- also to perhaps clarify the correctly stated depletion of reserves (economically recoverable reserves vs. potentially economic resources).
