Issues with historical coats of arms[edit]

The historical coats of arms in this article are a bit misleading. The main issue is that the astrological symbols for the "1860-1900" coat of arms are incorrect -- they are shown to be Aries, Gemini, Pisces, and Cancer, but should be Aries, Taurus, Gemini, and Cancer. Not sure this specific category needs to exist at all, however, as the coat of arms used in 1845 is identical to the one used today, it was just officially codified in 1900. The only change from the 1845 version is that the new tricolor is used in accordance with the change of the flag in 1860.

Interestingly, the 1830-1835 version of the coat of arms in this article also employs the same set of erroneous astrological symbols as above. Even if the symbols were correct (again, they are not), they would have had no significance as the events to which they refer had not yet occurred. A colorized version can also be found here: Ecuadorarms (hubert-herald.nl), though I'm not sure what the original source is, though the article laying out the coat of arms does specify a blue background. But in summary, the astrological symbols were not present in this coat of arms and need to be removed here as well as corrected in the 1860-1900 version (or this version can simply be removed and a note added that this was de facto the coat of arms from 1860-1900 and was made official in 1900).
