Relevance of Gene Therapy

[edit]

I can see nothing in the first paragraph of the gene therapy section that has anything to do with codocytes in particular. I believe this part of this section should either be merged into Gene therapy or deleted entirely. Headzred 16:04, 1 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Diseases

[edit]

I moved HbC disease and thalassemia closer to the mention of iron deficiency. This keeps asplenia from interrupting the idea. 71.234.109.192 08:38, 17 October 2007 (UTC)rhetoric[reply]

I believe this article is a mish-mash of two other related pages that were erroneously melded together. Target cells when referring to hormones and erythrocytes that have a target cell morphology are very different and this article talks about them in the same breath.

I agree. The hematology content of this article (erythrocyte morphology) should be one article, while the endocrinological context of a "target cell" belongs elsewhere. Mike M.
