Weird claims

[edit]

@Randykitty: Yeah, about that "highly cited" bit, it really just does come from right out of that Cole & Stankus (2014) book, and I think it's fine to nix it if it seems exaggerated. I don't really have a good sense of how to appraise impact factors myself seeing as I don't have a good baseline for what "highly cited" means within cognitive science / psychology. The same goes for the "one of the few outside of the U.S." under the "Experimental psychology" header in the book: One of the few journals of the century originating outside the United States is published by Elsevier Science in the Netherlands and has been in existence since 1972.
