Colorado River Numic

[edit]

Wick R. Miller, Dirk Elzinga, and John E. McLaughlin. 2005. "Preaspirationa and Gemination in Central Numic," International Journal of American Linguistics 71:413-444 uses "Colorado River Numic". Sources that use only "Ute", "Southern Paiute", or "Chemehuevi" only deal with those specific dialects. There are no sources that deal with the language as a unit, that's why the term "Colorado River Numic" is used. (Taivo (talk) 20:15, 25 January 2010 (UTC))[reply]
