Attention! Please do not remove or edit the "twin" image, as this will automatically be fixed as soon as the file comalcalco.jpg is removed from this server. I already entered the request. The replacement files are already on Wikipedia Commons, and after deletion it should look like in the german Wikipedia version. http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comalcalco Thank you. {{Coordinate article|18_15_45_N_93_13_22_W_type:landmark_region:MX-TAB|18° 15′ 45" N, 93° 13′ 22" W}} Not sure what its all about.--Rockero 04:26, 31 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

There was an article I read about the Comalcalco site in a magizine called World Explorer. It talked about the evidence of many European and North African inscriptions on many of the bricks found at Comalcalco (and speculation of heavy Roman influence). Also that there is a radio-carbon dating the site to appox. 200AD. There is an article, The Bricks of Comalcalco, by Neil Steede in the Ancient American Sept-Oct. 1994. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.18.184.150 (talk) 21:19, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Move back to Comalcalco

[edit]

I don't understand the move of this article from Comalcalco to Comalcalco, Tabasco. That seems against how other Maya sites are listed, and there seems no need for a disambiguation, as Comalcalco is simply a redirect to here! I therefore propose the page be moved back to the simple title "Comalcalco". -- Infrogmation (talk) 01:36, 8 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed, further disambiguation is unnecessary. Was surprised to see it'd been moved under Comalcalco, Tabasco abt 2 years ago, guess it sorta slipped thru the cracks. Can't keep tabs on everything; anyways I've moved it back to its orginal, and simpler, title. Thx for picking up on it. Cheers, --cjllw ʘ TALK 06:38, 9 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
