Unhelpful description of kick[edit]

the only difference being when wearing swim fins is that your legs will always be kicking in the regular motion without the scissor kick

Wasn't clear what the 'regular' motion was, but I researched it, and it seems to be flutter kick, so I will change accordingly. Centrepull (talk) 15:06, 21 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Dead link to video[edit]

There seems to have been a link to a video at the bottom. It now leads to a defunct facebook page. If someone could please either fix it or find a new, similar one, that would be nice. 196.202.26.209 (talk) 06:57, 22 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Interesting article, although far too much OR. Cleaned up the grammar. Looks like the idea is to keep the arms underwater as much as possible. Though I am a sinker not a swimmer. Kortoso (talk) 19:51, 16 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Difference from regular side stroke[edit]

A clear explanation of the difference between the combat side stroke and the regular side stroke would be helpful.Bill (talk) 02:31, 10 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Needs work[edit]

The description of the stroke, which surprisingly only comes at or near the end of the article, is inadequate. For example, which arm strokes first and which way does the body roll?

The article also needs citations. Kdammers (talk) 20:44, 23 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
