There should be a reference, even if the committee no longer exists[edit]

The article has 1 reference, but the link didn't work. Maybe that's due to the "authority control" flag. Anyway, I think it's appropriate to have a reference in this article. There is a useful page on the website of the European Nuclear Society, which lists 6 different editions of "Biological Effects of Ionizing Radiation" that were published by the National Research Council (of the USA, part of the National Academy of Sciences). BEIR reports have been widely cited. I wondered if the NAS still has a committee that might produce a later version of the BEIR documents. So, I looked at the website of the NAS. I didn't locate such a committee. There may be such a committee, but I didn't find it. Oaklandguy (talk) 18:47, 23 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
