not the last time[edit]

This text: "1838 Massachusetts state court case, notable for being the last time a court in the United States jailed a defendant for blasphemy" is false. Charles Lee Smith was convicted and jailed for 'Blasphemy' in 1928 in Arkansas. 161.11.160.44 (talk) 16:28, 20 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I don't believe Smith ever served time in jail for the blasphemy conviction. Not an expert on his case, though. SnowFire (talk) 19:05, 20 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
