Is GM2 correct?
[edit]From reading the GM2 spec, all 16 channels can be MIDI melodic channels. By default, 15 are melodic and 1 (#10) is rhythm, the same as GM1. But #10 and #11 can be configured to be either melodic or rhythm via bank Control Change messages (0x00 and 0x20).
