1986 Hawley's mouse

[edit]

Made for Digital Equipment Corporation and Honeywell. It could work on any surface (didn't need a special pad) as shown in CRD yt video demonstration and didn't get dirty inside. It could also work on a vertical surface. With that, I think it deserves a mention in the history section. Setenzatsu.2 (talk) 08:28, 2 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

what does this mean?

[edit]

"According to Roger Bates, a hardware designer in English, another reason for choosing this name was because..."

should it be 'with English', "for English", "working alongside English"? something like that? genuinely baffled. Bates doesn't appear again. Bill English is established, so it's clearly him in this sentence, but what context?

@Duncanrmi: It looks like it should be "under English", going by a similar phrase in the Etymology section. I've corrected it. Thanks for highlighting this! Fluffernutter (talk) 16:13, 12 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
