Gallons
[edit]Fuck Gallon!
As you can see there are different "gallons": http://www.convertunits.com/from/gallon/to/litre and http://www.paulnoll.com/Oregon/Canning/number-liters.html one says 849 gallons are 3218 liter, the other says 3860 liter. So for god's sake dump these gallons and say it in liter, the rest of the world would be very thankfull. --Mustafa Mustamann 05:28, 12 August 2007 (UTC)
Bf.110
[edit]The Dackelbauch fitted to some marks of the Bf.110 seems to be a CFT, but I'm not sure if it was jettisonable. Drutt (talk) 11:48, 11 June 2008 (UTC)

Conformal fuel tanks: Not *usually* jettisonable.
[edit]Here's text from the lead paragraph: "Conformal fuel tanks have the disadvantage that, unlike drop tanks, they cannot be discarded when empty." Here's text from Republic P-47 Thunderbolt: "200 U.S. gallon (758 l) ferry tank, a conformal tub-shaped jettisonable tank made of paper, which barely cleared the ground on grass airfields, was used as an interim measure between 30 July and 31 August 1943;"
Suggest a modification of the lead paragraph. Scutigera (talk) 05:00, 11 July 2010 (UTC)
It would be helpful to have photos of planes with only CFTs, not with traditional drop tanks as well, as all the photos do. A person not already familiar with this will be confused, as the photos don't have arrows or other indicators as to what the CFTs are as opposed to the traditional drop tanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.19.132.55 (talk) 04:55, 10 January 2013 (UTC)
Blacklisted Links Found on the Main Page
[edit]Cyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request its removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.
