The death of Conor Clapton and its subsequent effects seem to be more pertinent to Eric Clapton and Lory Del Santo. Suggest including information under their respective pages, rather than an independent article. Kazamzam (talk) 17:26, 3 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I really don't see the value in merging the two. Alssa1 (talk) 00:42, 4 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Support. Conor did nothing notable during his lifetime other than die, which led to "Tears in Heaven". There's no reason for him to have his own article. Songwaters (talk) 22:18, 16 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support Notability is not inherited and he is known for having two famous parents and for his death at a young age. Both of his parents' articles already discuss him and the article fails WP:NOTINHERITED and WP:ONEEVENT. With this edit, [1], it was changed from a redirect to an article. I came across the article the same day, but after the merge discussion was started. It could have been reverted back to a redirect per WP:BRD. Aspects (talk) 23:06, 16 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
