removing inappropriate external link[edit]

Per Wikipedia guidance: Except for a link to an official page of the article's subject, one should generally avoid providing external links to: Any site that does not provide a unique resource beyond what the article would contain if it became a featured article. In other words, the site should not merely repeat information that is already or should be in the article. Therefore, the link to newadvent.org should be removed. Perhaps, as it's not cited for anything in the article. It's been there since the article was created, and I don't usually prune sources like this when I edit articles, unless I'm doing a major overhaul—sometimes not even then. But maybe someone else has another opinion. Think I'll wait and see if anyone else wants to weigh in on this particular link. P Aculeius (talk) 22:24, 25 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
