Alexis, Wow you outline is really in depth. I am wondering if maybe it might be too much information and that it should be narrowed down a little bit. Perhaps pick a type of film instead of doing all types of film, or focus on a type of deterioration. Other than there being a lot of information to digest, it looks like you definitely did your research and have picked a subject that you are interested in. I looked over your references which looked good, I would only be able to suggest one, National Film Preservation Foundation (https://www.filmpreservation.org/preservation-basics/the-film-preservation-guide), which you may have already looked into. As far as your article following the Wikipedia guidelines, I think you hit the six main criteria, it is well written, verifiable, definitely covers the topic, neutral, stable and you have illustrations. I like that you added the See Also area and the external links for people to get more information. Overall it looks good, it is just a lot of information. Conservation and restoration of film and Film preservation seem to have a similar theme[edit]

Conservation and restoration of film and Film preservation are perhaps candidates for merger-perhaps the authors need to talk? DadaNeem (talk) 15:46, 14 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. These articles should be merged. -Michellecornelison (talk) 07:12, 9 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
