Mr/Mrs[edit]

Only surgeons revert their title, and usually do this well before they reach consultant status. --John24601 07:08, 8 June 2007 (UTC) That is simply not true.78.86.61.94 (talk) 10:31, 27 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, sorry what was your point? I don't find the name issue in the main article. Your post is from 2007 plus comment from 2011...slightly dated. If there is a naming "gender" topic, and if you think you want to add it because it is relevant and citable, do so? Otherwise done? KR  Done 17387349L8764 (talk) 20:52, 24 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Consultant vs attending[edit]

I am not too familiar with the term "consultant," but I know that in addition to the UK, the term is sometimes used in the US. Does anyone know of any place other than Mayo Clinic that uses the term "consultant" rather than "attending"? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.86.242.211 (talk) 23:50, 30 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, attending? Never heard of that. You post is ten years old now. Any news, please add to main article, otherwise I call it done. KR  Done 17387349L8764 (talk) 20:53, 24 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

very confusing[edit]

As in the business sector a consultant usually doesn't do anything but observing and giving advice. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.74.227.132 (talk) 07:50, 14 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, yes, true and well explained in Consultant main article. BR  Done 17387349L8764 (talk) 20:53, 24 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

clinical fellows[edit]

There needs to be a hyperlink from "clinical fellows" to a relevant page. 194.176.105.153 (talk) 16:56, 18 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, right, there is something about it, see https://www.bmj.com/content/329/7458/s22.2, I try adding a link or so.  Done KR 17387349L8764 (talk) 20:54, 24 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
